Amelia Nell is a Vocal Tutor (specialising in Contemporary music styles) and a Choral Director, Writer and Arranger. A singer/songwriter/pianist in her own right, she holds a Bachelor of Music from the Australian Institute of Music, Sydney, and a Certificate IV in Popular Music & Performance from JMC Academy, Sydney.

Amelia regularly updates her ongoing professional development in multiple areas concerning voice science and vocal pedagogy, thereby enabling her to impart her knowledge of the latest industry standards and techniques to her students. She is currently a member of the NSW Committee and is the regional representative for the Blue Mountains at the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing Ltd (ANATS).

She has been a Vocal Tutor for The Australian Girls Choir, was the Choir Director and Principal Singing Teacher at Katoomba High School from 2013 - 2016 where she established the eisteddfod-winning Vocal Program, and is currently the Choir Director in the high schoolat Blue Mountains Grammar School.

Amelia's holistic approach to singing teaching and choir directing ensures that her students learn in a positive, supportive, understanding and nurturing environment. She fosters the individuality of each student, strives to instil a sense of confidence and wellbeing and encourages them to express themselves through creativity.
